Round Six
And Now We Wait...
The Waiting Begins…
No big changes during Round Six. It was the easiest and most comfortable administration of immunotherapy thus far, for which I am grateful. The headache hit right on schedule and the fatigue followed soon after. No surprises.
June 25 is the scheduled follow-up biopsy and scan to determine the effectiveness of the treatment and to provide a prognosis. I will once again be put under for the ordeal, and Candace will be the first to learn what the doctors discover. I imagine this has been and will be harder on her than on me. If our roles were reversed, I would be a basket case right now.
In the meantime, no changes to my diet and exercise regime. Still pumping in a bunch of supplements to up the metabolic ante, and still awaiting the genetic and transitory carcinoma reports.
So we wait.
Thank you everyone for the support, prayers, well wishes, and encouragement that you have offered to me throughout this ordeal. I truly cannot say enough how much it has meant to me and how well it was received.
